Legendary Top Fuel Dragster driver R.L. (Randy) Peyton (L) shown here with Turkey Run founder Stu Sarjeant visited us this year.

R.L. was a pioneer in top fuel and was one of the first drivers to crack the 200mph and 7 second barrier.

His “Big Bamboo” Dragster was a legend in the mid 1960’s.

His brother Hap Peyton has written a book about R.L.’s exploits that can be purchased HERE.
